Obstacles
The barriers that threaten the Initiatives and Strategies. Obstacles are pains: identify them, indicate they hurt the initiative, then implicate them up to threaten the strategy.
What great looks like
A pain that is identified, indicated (shown to hurt the initiative), and implicated (connected up to threaten the strategy). The strongest answers carry the pain all the way up the pyramid.
The common mistake
Stopping at identify. Naming a problem is not the same as showing what it costs and what it threatens.
Example: Amazon at this level
Current logistics cannot support Prime-level service. Too many deliveries fall outside the promised window, and returns at scale are punishing.
